On Sunday, 10 August 2014, design fans and all those who want to become it go on a journey of discovery in the world’s largest exhibition of contemporary product design. From 3–4:30 p.m., the public tour of the Red Dot Design Museum Essen informs about latest industrial design, product culture and the fascinating architecture of the house.
The one hour and a half tour of the former boiler house of Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex allows for interesting insights into the world of well-shaped and sophisticated designs. Thereby, visitors learn about latest trends in the various fields of international product design, about cultural and country-specific characteristics and how design has changed over the years.
Participation fee: 5 € per person plus regular admission
Admission: 6 € (Reduced: 4 €)
Children under 12: Free admission
